Katherine made her students think outside the box. She wanted to see what they know and how they understand things, to look further than what's already there. Her students all had outstanding answers that came from there own thoughts and at times where they came from textbooks. It was okay to her because that's how she wanted her students to be. Good or bad it was fine because that's how they are receiving those things. It wasn't just about the facts to her, it was more than that. On the other hand, Charles Dickson says in his novel "Hard Times" that everything was about the facts not what they thought. The facts was more important than anything. They couldn't really give their own opinion even if it was an intelligent one. Stick to the facts and only the facts means they couldn't express themselves.

My thoughts on the different exam levels is that it's going to be difficult, especially in college. Reason why is because the exams are much harder because you have a lot that's covered on it and you have to find your own material to study with. High school is more easy because the teachers give you study guides so you already know what's on the test. I could prepare for it by taking notes getting tutored.
